Monster Integration

3391 Auction I

“It is over,” I said as I looked around the raging sea; the pirates have escaped and those have not dead.

Now only the raging sea remained, which is bloodied with bodies of monsters and some pirates. Not all of them had died cleanly.

Taking one last look, I flew toward the ship and landed on the deck, with the other Sovereigns.

“Thank you for fighting with your life on the line, ladies and gentlemen. Varana will eternally be grateful for it,” said the bony old man, floating in front of us.

“For your efforts, we will do as we had promised and more,” he added.

I walked out of the deck but didn’t go to my suit and instead went to the infirmary. There are many healers working on the injuries of those injured.

They are doing a great job and will be able to manage on their own.

Still, I dropped a few things there, looking at the conditions of the people, before walking away.

The battle had been intense, and a lot of people have lost their lives. We have won and thus survived. If the pirates had won the battle, most would have died or been in cages.

Very few would have been able to survive.

Soon, I turned to the deluxe suite hallway and saw familiar people. “I thought you guys would be upgraded to best suit on the ship,” I said to Ruib and Melar.

“Well, they offered, but we like our small suit and the people around it,” replied Melar.

“I am glad,” I said with a smile. I am truly glad; they are a nice company.

The first thing I did as I entered my suit was shower. I want to wipe away the smell of the battle.

Half an hour later, I walked out of the shower smelling good and wore a comfortable cloth, before laying down on my bed and closing my eyes to sleep.

My sleep had been interrupted by the pirates, and I want to have it before doing anything else.

“Thank you,”

I said as the human attendant opened the door for me, and I went inside a room.

The room is small but luxurious; an attendant came with it, but I had asked him to stay out. I didn’t need any disturbance or someone spying on what I was doing.

The grand auction had excited me. Every day, they revealed more things, till 75% of all things were revealed.

This is the fifteenth day of my voyage on Varana, the last night. By evening tomorrow, the ship will disembark on the Marlin.

I am planning on spending a large amount of money on getting the things I want. The most important of them all is an alom pearl; I want it even more than I had two weeks ago.

My research and experiments on the lower-grade pearl produced a huge result.

Now, I am even more sure that alom pearl is the best thing for me to create my dream abode and I am willing to spend a fortune on it.

I looked in front of me through the large glass. I am in the biggest auditorium in the ship, capacity to house thousands and a large number of people have already come in, filling in the seats rapidly.

This place I am in is the elite cabin; it is only reserved for the Earth Sovereigns.

Though, some exceptions are made for the person who had killed most pirates in a pirate attack ten days ago. The pirates had a huge bounty, and I shifted it all into my auction account.

A few minutes passed, and every seat in the auditorium had been completely occupied.

At exactly six, the dark stage lit up, and there was a beautiful woman in the center of it. She belongs to the same race as Reyana, with a tall physique and a beautiful face, that seemed to become the center of the hall.

Her thin wings are silver and shimmer in the light.

“Welcome you all to the Grand Auction; I am Eyrir Rez will be your auctioneer,” said the auctioneer.

“Without further ado, let me explain the rules for you,” she said. “All the bidding will be done in crystals, but you will be able to pay with a thing of equivalent value.

“Till, the last one thousand items; anyone can bid, but after that, only the selected ones,”

“The last rule is, you are not allowed to use any soul sense people around you and threaten anyone with your power or name of your family or organization,”

She explained the rules and the faint aura of four Earth Sovereigns spread through the auditorium for a moment, before disappearing.

“Now that the rules are done, let’s start the auction,” she said, and immediately two people brought in the cart and she removed the cloth on it, revealing the blue-shining crystal.

It is square in shape and has soft energy.

I sent my soul sense and immediately could feel its exuberant energy.  She took the crystal in her hand and showed it to everyone.

“This is a processed core of the tervian deer monster. The energies inside had mellowed, that anyone could absorb it,”

“It could help the recovery of Sovereign’s energy very fast, but the best use of it as supplementary energy in the in the breakthrough of the Primary-III into the Sovereign,”

“The price of it will start from the thousand reven crystal and could be increased by ten at every bid,” she informed.

“Eleven hundred,”

Immediately someone big, increasing the big by the hundred instead of ten.

Another person made a bid a second later, increasing the bid by fifty, and two seconds later, another person took a big to twelve hundred.

The core of tervian deer is not rare, which rare are alchemists, who could process it. Only Grade 4 alchemists could do it, and that makes it expensive.

It is also useful.

That single crystal is enough to fulfill the need of most Primary-III’s breakthrough into the Sovereign.

A few seconds later, the processed core got sold in fourteen hundred and fifty reven crystal. It is slightly expensive, but most bided things in the auctions are.

I watched a few bids before closing my eyes and entering my core.

I think I am the only one from the elite boxes who had come so early. The things that are being auctioned are for general passengers; the real action will start when the top thousand things appear.

That is when important people come.

I do not mind coming early. I could work here while keeping my eyes on the auction. If anything interesting came, I could immediately open my eyes and bid on it.

Though, the chances of finding something truly interesting in general things are quite slim.

Still, it didn’t matter; as I had said, I could work from here. I won’t be losing anything coming early.

An hour passed in my core when I opened my eyes. My soul sense had touched something interesting.
