Monster Integration

3389 Killing Pirates

“Lirio Neptar. I didn’t think we will be able to catch a big fish like you when we were not even trying,” said Ruib.

“Didn’t I say we will be lucky on this trip?” asked Melar and Ruib nodded, while Neptar glared at them angrily.

“You little bastards think you could do anything to me? I am a High-Earth Sovereign, while you two are only Mid-Earth Sovereigns,”

“I am going to capture you two and sell you two at a very high price,” said Neptar, but instead of getting scared, both of them laughed, making Neptar even angry at them.

“It is such a nice joke,” said Ruib, before attacking Neptar, fast as lightning.

Neptar defended with his trident, only to see a rapier coming at him, which he was able to dodge, by less than a centime of distance from his neck.

Immediately, his expression turned serious, while I focused completely on the woman in front of me.

“Well, it didn’t seem like we were going to lose anymore,” I said to the woman, effortlessly repelling her attack. That forced her to take a couple of steps back before stopping and looking at me in shock.

It seemed like she had understood something and shuddered.

“I..I have my poison inside you,” she threatened, stuttering faintly.

“Activate it them,” I challenged her.

She looked at me for a moment, before activating the poison, and nothing happened. The smile on my face never disappeared, and she became more and more scared.

“How?” she asked.

“Your poison was good, but I destroyed it the moment it entered my body,” I said and attacked.

Puch!

She moved her trident to defend against me, but I avoided it and decapitated her, before taking her body inside my storage.

Like I had said before. Average Peak Sovereigns are not my match. They were never, the moment I had broken through.

Now, more than two months have passed since that happened and I have grown even more powerful. The strengthening treatments might work slowly, but they are increasing my strength little by little.

Still, I kind of miss Grimms, especially when I am taking the treatments.

Their bloodlines are delicious, and they make my strength rise fast. If I had known the place where they reside, I would have gone there instead of the place I am going to right now.

Unfortunately, the Grimms have no permanent base in this prime world and what they have is a secret.

It is why they attack the runes most of the time.

In there, they didn’t have to worry about a high-level powerhouse coming and wiping them out, which is what happened when they are found outside.

For a few seconds, I didn’t move from my spot. Instead, I watched their battle with Neptar and become even more sure that the battle won’t end in pirate victory.

With that thought, I moved ahead and was immediately surprised by the change in energy.

Earlier, most of the passengers were fighting defensively, preparing to run away, but now with these two, they have become sure that we will not lose.

We might not win, but we will not lose either.

Puch Slice Puch

I started to kill the pirates and not just the pirates, but also their beasts, if they dared to attack me.

I don’t target the monsters intentionally. What is happening is not their fault. If they run away after their master is dead, there won’t be anyone happier than me.

A minute passed, and I had killed a large number of pirates. That made even Earth Sovereigns look at me, but not a single one of them had attacked as they are busy.

Our Sovereigns are fighting like crazy, especially the boney man.

He only rested for a couple of seconds before joining the battle, and now he was doing against his opponent what Merman had done to him.

The old man is powerful, most powerful, than the ship’s Earth Sovereigns, but the merman was too powerful for him, and he couldn’t do anything.

Hun!

A few more seconds passed, and I continued killing before finally someone came at me.

Three someone and all of them are Peak Sovereigns.

“Enough killing, human! It is time, we kill you for what you did,” said a man with a purple fishtail and attacked me with his spear.

A woman with scales and a man with tentacles came at me from opposite sides.

‘Now, this is some challenge.’ I thought

I stopped the attack of the fish merman and disappeared to dodge the attack of the two, before coming behind the fish merman and attacking him.

CLANNNG!

He acted fast and defended, and I disappeared again as the two attacks came.

These three are obviously a team that had worked together many times. It is clear by their teamwork, which made me excited.

Since I am fighting, I need a challenge, and these three are giving me some. I hope they are hiding some more power than they are showing, at least enough to force me to use my full power.

Seconds passed, and I used more and more power to fight against three while keeping my eyes on the surrounding battles.

Which is going well, especially now that we had killed the first Earth-Sovereign.

It is the boney man who did it.

It immediately brought a change in the battle. Some of the pirates immediately run away, while those fighting become even more careful.

Most importantly, the morale of our side had increased even further.

“I am giving you guys a minute. Use everything you have, or you all will find your heads beneath my blade,” I warned.

“You bastard, we will kill you before that,” screamed the fish merman and came at me with fury, using all his strength. The others have also harnessed all their strength.

Seeing that, I also harnessed more of my power and begin to fight them and even used some of my new moves.

Some of them are working as I expected, one even better than I had expected, but a few are below average. This is not surprising, they are for the next level, and I am collecting data to improve them.

The Sovereign inheritance gives me much greater freedom and I want to use it at my max.

A few more seconds passed when suddenly I disappeared and appeared at a distance.

“A minute had passed and now, I am going to kill you all,” I said and disappeared again.

Puch!

“You fuc”

The fish merman stopped mid-curse when it saw my halberd piercing the heart of his tentacle fiend.

It froze for a fraction of seconds before dipping into the sea, clearly running away.

Puch!

“You shouldn’t,” I said to him as I appeared in front of him and pierced my sword into his chest. He tried to stop me, but it was futile.

I disappeared and appeared in front of the woman.

“Please, they have forced me to join them. I had nothing to do with piracy before this attack,” she begged.

Slash!

A moment later, I decapitated her, which shocked her fading eyes.

“Lier,” I said.

I have a list of pirates, and this woman is quite renowned; active here for one and half centuries.

She has a large bounty on her, which I planned to collect.
