3273 Killing The Sovereigns

Clang!

I stopped the sword of the Goatman and turned to it with a smile.

“So-so,” I mocked, before disappearing to dodge the attack of the Bearman.

I appeared a few meters away from them.

I clashed with the Bearman, before moving my sword to clash against the Goatman.

I clashed against it before moving to Bearman again.

It is clear from the way they are fighting; they have never worked together, but they are experienced enough to do it, without messing up.

Though not skilled enough, to stop me from using the gaps between their teamwork.

Clang Clang Clang

I fought against them while my clone inside looked at the working of my inheritance. Making a few changes, to streamline it further.

Here, in this isolated space where no Sovereign from outside could come in, and only Sovereigns here are the ones who made a breakthrough here.

So, I am pretty much safe. Even if there is someone who I couldn’t defeat. There won’t be Sovereign, who would be able to kill me. Those are outside.

Before facing them, I have to get control over my power and tune in to my inheritance and these Grimms are doing a great job in helping me do that.

“I am disappointed, little bear; I thought you were stronger than this,” I said to Bearman, while not even glancing at Goatman.

The Bearman is with bloodline and stronger. The Goatman is stronger than the average Sovereign, but not as strong as Bearman. If two fought, Bearman would be able to kill it, with some struggle.

“I will kill you!” Bearman shouted and attacked with its aura blazing. The Goatman had also increased its power and came at me from behind.

I defended their attacks, but they came at me again.

Two and a half minutes passed, and they continued to increase their power but weren’t able to bring even a single injury to me when they changed their strategy.

The Goatman fought one on one, while the Bearman begin to launch thousands of lances at me.

They are pretty powerful. If a single one of these lances had attacked me, it would have been a game over for me, but thankfully it didn’t, or I wouldn’t be standing here alive.

Five minutes passed and Bearman was still launching the attacks from a distance, all of which I was defending with ease.

I could see it is frustrating, but it is keeping its emotions in control while continuing to attack me.

I want to see how long it could continue with the long-range attacks. It will soon understand how futile these attacks are and if it wants any chance against me, it will have to fight me closely.

“Dark Chains of Beasl!” It shouted another attack and a moment later; I saw chains materializing over my body.

In less than a second, they enveloped me fully, restraining my movements. A shock materialized on my face as I looked at the dark chains that bound me.

“I have to say, human. You are stronger than I imagined, but you got too confident of your strength,” said Bearman, as it appeared beside the Goatman.

“How did you bind me?” I asked as I struggled to break the chains, but there was no effect and instead, they got tighter.

“It’s no use human. My dark chains are powerful enough that even Mid-Sovereign wouldn’t be able to break through them once they got bound by it,” it said boastingly.

I glared at it and struggle to break them, while the Grimms watch with a smile on their faces.

“I had told you, human; I will kill you in the most painful way, and I will do it,” it said, but suddenly stopped and looked at Goatman.ραпdα `nᴏνɐ| сom

“What?” asked Bearman with clear irritation on his face. “It will mess up its body. Can’t we just kill it without damaging its body?”

“I really want to eat it, it’s been a while since I ate the delicious human,” said Goatman, looking at hopefully.

“Shut up!” he shouted at Goatman. “This bastard dared to make fun of me, I will kill it, in the most painful way possible as I promised it,” it said, not caring about the anger in the Goatmans eyes.

“You should listen to your friend. Just give me a quick death.” I said, and the Bearman smiled mockingly.

“You had that chance, human, but you had lost it and now you will pay,” he said and waved his hand and a moment later, the chains begin to tighten around me, while it watched with a smile.

Ahhhh…

Pain appeared on my face, and I even started screaming, and for a while, it watched with pleasure, but suddenly a frown appeared on its face.

“You bastard!” it cursed suddenly and came at me with raging eyes. Immediately, I stopped screaming and smiled at it.

Crack Crack…Bang!

The chains begin to crack, before blasting to pieces.

Seeing it, the anger in the Bearman’s eyes had increased further, and it attacked, with dense black energy swirling around its ax.

I also swung my sword at it, but my attack looked a lot paler compared to it.

Clang!

Our weapons clashed, and a shock appeared on the Grimms’ face, and blood started to leak out of its mouth as it took a step back.

“You should use your full power or you won’t get a chance,” I said to it, with a light smile on my face.

This time it did not reply, but the anger on its face subsided and its expression became serious.

For a few seconds, it keeps looking at me, before suddenly it exploded in power, along with Goatman. The bloodline phantom materialized above it, before merging it back inside it, reinforcing its aura.

“Good, now come at me,” I challenged, and they moved, but not toward me.

They both moved to escape in opposite directions. They had planned this. It caught me by surprise. I had not thought the Sovereigns would run.

It seemed like I had looked at the Sovereign stage with such reverence, that I forget they are beings. They will run away when they feel their life is in danger.

I sighed seeing that before I disappeared from my place; I appeared in front of Grimm.

It was shocked and tried to stop, but even Sovereign like it couldn’t stop instantly, when I appeared directly in front of it, with my sword pointed toward its chest.

Puch!

I didn’t have to do anything. It ran into my sword, which entered directly into its heart, crushing all its defenses.

It had struggled for a one and half seconds, before freezing away and disappearing into my core.

‘It seemed like I have to work more on the freezing energy,’ I thought, seeing how slowly it had reacted.

Puch!

I disappeared once again and appeared in front of Goatman. It didn’t even notice me, till my sword touched its chest and by then, it had become too late to even resist.

A second later it froze and disappeared into my core and I turned to three Primary-III, who are also running away.

They appeared in my core a moment later.
