"Qingyu, Feng!" Tianming didn't know what to do, his scalp tingling from agitation. Far too many odd things had happened in this world, and troubling occurrences like this one were nigh impossible to predict. The appearance of a xenofiend and the reason it had taken Lingfeng and the rest was completely unknown. He didn't even know what xenofiends essentially were.
"They are... still alive... they are... just trapped..." Yin Chen said, reporting what the few of its bodies that had been left with Qingyu and Lingfeng noticed.
Tianming breathed a sigh of relief at the news. It appeared that the xenofiend's goal was to capture, not consume. After swallowing the Soulfiend, the xenofiend turned its full attention to retreating. This wasn't its world, so it turned into a purple soul storm and stuffed most of its body through the Xenoworld Gate.
"There's no time left!" Tianming made a hurried approach toward the gate. Countless purple soul storms came flying his way! While he was more than capable of eradicating the xenofiend, his soul was shaking nonstop. He was fine, but each attack still heavily disoriented him, even with the Soul Tower protecting him. Wudi fared even worse, given that his soul wasn't protected within the Flameyellow Coffin.
"Stop!"
Howl as he might, it was pointless. A single slash of his managed to cut off a part of the xenofiend, but that didn't stop it from entering the Xenoworld. Most of its body had made it through the gate.
"I won't let you escape!" Tianming no longer cared about anything else and charged toward the gate. But right as he was about to make it in, another soul storm disoriented him once more. When he snapped out of it, the xenofiend had completely made it through the gate. He fumed with rage and frustration, but right at that moment, the pale white egg within his lifebound space leaped outside.
Tianming had been fuming right outside the Xenoworld Gate, so he wasn’t able to react and grab Sixth as it jumped. He had a feeling that it would be his wildest lifebound beast yet. The fact that it often jumped out on its own accord, despite his wishes, showed how difficult it would be to control, and it just had to do that at this moment of crisis.
All Tianming saw was a flash of white light before the pale white egg vanished before his eyes and slammed into the body of the xenofiend, causing it to let out a blood-curdling shriek. Using the eye on his left arm, Tianming saw the egg charge into the xenofiend’s eyeball. It forcefully burrowed itself inside it and started spreading an insidious white gas through the eye, dyeing the purple creature a sickly white in an instant! The xenofiend could do nothing but painfully scream as it made its way through the Xenoworld before falling into an abyss below.
"Icky disgusting!" Yin Chen said, then repeating itself nonstop with a hateful tone. It had never spoken in such a manner before, especially while referring to Sixth. Based on Tianming's experience with Primordial Chaos Beasts, they were usually rather rowdy before hatching. Xian Xian and Yin Chen had had their own quirks as well, yet Tianming didn't think that Sixth would actually jump away and completely ignore him.
"Sixth!" Since it had already jumped in, Tianming couldn't afford to hesitate. However, the Xenoworld Gate shut itself in an instant, causing him to slam into a mountain and completely knock it over. Boulders went rolling everywhere, and by the time he unearthed himself from the rubble, the gigantic xenofiend was already gone, along with all traces of the gate. Lingfeng, Qingyu, the Soulfiend, and his sixth Primordial Chaos Beast had all vanished. He stared at the empty space before him, filled with confusion.
"Why’d Sixth run off? What was it thinking?" It was the first time a Primordial Chaos Beast had escaped from him. Tianming had a premonition about that, but he still couldn't quite figure it out. Ying Huo and the rest had behaved well so far, hence why he found it so hard to believe that something like this would happen.
"Yin Chen, how are they doing?!" With the door shut, there was no way he would be able to enter the Xenoworld in the near future. There was an entrance to the Xenoworld at the core of the sun and he had blood from Lingfeng and Qingyu, which he could use to track them down. He also had a xenomemory rope. That was why he immediately decided to return to the Sky Palace with Wudi, where the entrance to the solar core was. However, the Xenoworld was far from conventional and there was no telling whether they would make it in time.
"They are... fine for... now and... the xenofiend... is shrieking... in pain..." Yin Chen softly said.

Tianming set the course of the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb for the Sky Palace at maximum speed. He didn't care if he had to ram into it. Then he entered the wondersky realm and went to Soulburn Hall.
"Big Brother!" The white-haired girl immediately appeared when he entered. She seemed to be in a rather odd state, with wave-like distortions washing over her body and making it seem like she would scatter at any moment. It was almost identical to the time when Lingfeng had entered the xenomemory space, with his caelum looking like it was turning into gas.
"Qingyu! How are you doing?" Tianming was so anxious that his voice came out hoarse.
